Volunteering to support the HIV+ community
Serving Central and Western Maryland, Northern Virginia and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia
So that no one living with HIV/AIDS in our area has to go it alone, we sponsor weekly support group meetings and occasional social gatherings - giving those living with HIV/AIDS a chance to meet, share and make new friends.
Our volunteers are available to assist with transportation, food distribution, daily telephone contact, home and hospital visits.
We also maintain and distribute the Positive Influence, Inc. Red Ribbon Directory of current state, county and city agencies of professional service providers. |
 Positive Influence, Inc. presents the DC Cowboys ( as seen on America's Got Talent 2008) for their annual Benefit show to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS. This years benefit show is scheduled for October 10, 2009 at the R. Talley Rec Center. Tickets go on sale soon and seating is limited.
