Volunteering to support the HIV+ community

Serving Central and Western Maryland, Northern Virginia and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia

So that no one living with HIV/AIDS in our area has to go it alone, we sponsor weekly support group meetings and occasional social gatherings - giving those living with HIV/AIDS a chance to meet, share and make new friends.

Our volunteers are available to assist with transportation, food distribution, daily telephone contact, home and hospital visits.

We also maintain and distribute the Positive Influence, Inc. Red Ribbon Directory of current state, county and city agencies of professional service providers.

Positive Influence's Annual Benefit Show- September 13, 2008: This show will be our biggest and best yet, with a brand new location and lots of room to party.   Our theme this year is "A Night In Hollywood" and it is garunteed to be an evening filled with incredible performances.  You won't want to miss it! This years show will be held at the R. Tally Rec Center in downtown Frederick (Near the Bell Tower at Baker Park)Tickets to go on sale soon.  Call 301-631-1054 today to reserve your tickets for an evening a fun.  (Leave a message with your contact information and how many tickets you will need)  Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door.  We hope to see you there!
